Come with us to visit this 18th Century House, once called “The homeliest of all homes” by John Patrick Crichton Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute. You will be mesmerized by the Chippendale furniture and lavish furnishings. The house will also be dressed in exquisite Christmas décor including nutcrackers, baubles, tinsel, and everything you could imagine for those festive vibes but with a traditional twist bathed in candlelight.
You will be greeted with a prosecco on arrival before moving onto a tour of this stunning house which was rescued by The Prince of Wales (now King Charles The Third) in 2007 as part of The Prince’s Foundation. Finally, you will end this fabulous tour with tea/coffee and mouthwatering mince pies fit for a King or Queen – made specially in Dumfries House for this tour.
